Hi,
I noticed today that meeting request pages are not working on safari and other big name browsers.
This might be related to a recent user id addition to the embedding iframe of meetings, but when I create a button pointing to :
https://meetings.hubspot.com/user-name
The webpage is only displayed on a Chrome browser, and most other browsers show a blank webpage only.
How do I fix this problem?
Hi @etilley ,
I’ve done some cross-browser testing for our meeting links and they work on all browsers without any issue.
Can you share an example of a page that has one of these buttons that can be tested?
I’m wondering if maybe this is related to a setting, cache, or cookie that you might have in your other browsers.
I couldn’t see it on Puffin nor on older Safari ios apps …
I am using an old iPad 2 and none of that generation would run the page.
Thanks for looking into it …
You’re welcome @etilley , although I do think it is a device/browser issue and not an issue with the page itself. Since I can only test my meeting links, it’s hard to say 100%
Have you tried another device to verify you can reach the pages?
Hey Jennifer,
I have the same problem, that embedded meetings on my wordpress site do not work on firefox, with tracking protection turned on (which is the default). They are just hidden.
You can test it here: partyborn.de/termin
@NicoSchulz I’ve asked around amoung devs I know and no one could find a solution for this since it’s a user setting.
I have the same problem. Tried multiple browsers, reinstalled extension and connected google email back to hubspot.
so far did not solved the problem
I confirm the issue still exists in 2025 for Firefox browser. Clearing cache, cookies, etc doesn’t work. This is something to do with default privacy-related settings in browser.
Hey @Volodymyr_Rudyi
Thanks for the great question!
My recommendation is to create a new post for this. This gives your post the best shot at getting seen by as many of our amazing community members as possible. Feel free to tag me in the post and I’m happy to get you started
