Hi there,
is there an intention to widen the scope of the Group Meetings tool? A massive limitation is it’s ability to only work with “paid seats”, while I have lots of colleagues that are not in sales or marketing and that I need to work with and organise client facing calls with. Being able to create group meetings that could reference their calendars would be so useful for me and prospects.
Hi @AlexMenzies,
I understand what you’re saying and I agree. However I think that the paid-seat-principle is by design and one of the built-in subscription upgrade paths. I’d be surprised if these features were moved into the free CRM, unfortunately.
You should never say never, of course, and things might change. If HubSpot does decide so, it would be an official announcement as part of a product update. Community members wouldn’t know and employees wouldn’t be allowed to share this information beforehand if that was the case.
Best regards!
Thanks for taking the time to reply @karstenkoehler .
It is more of a strategic aspect for HubSpot. We do have the paid version and a lot of paid-seats, but 80% of the business is not in Sales and Marketing (no justification for a paid seat). It would make the calendar app so much more useful if it could reference their calendars too… I found this a really useful function of Chilipiper because it would save me hours of back and forward every month in scheduling meetings with multiple stake holders.
I will leave this in the archive for HubSpot to decide whether to pick up or not.
