Meetings automation - notifying team and logging date

Hi,

I am trying to build two elements around logging meetings in the CRM. If a user logs a meeting in the CRM (using the log a meeting button) then I want to trigger a workflow that sets the Last Meeting logged date against the company and also one that sends a notification to members of the same team to let them know a team member has logged a meeting.

I am trying to use the meeting event trigger in the workflows but even though I have set it to trigger when the meeting outcome changes (which I populate when I log the meeting), the workflow does not seem to trigger? Do these only trigger for meetings booked through the meeting tool?

Thanks,

Jayne

Hi @Jaynums,

Can you please share a screenshot of your workflow?

Best regards

Hi,

So far my workflow is as per the below. I used a standard trigger event, but I am now wandering if I should build the trigger off the company record instead:

@Jaynums since this is currently a contact-based workflow, can you confirm that the meeting you logged on the company record was also logged to the contact you’re expecting to enroll?

Yes, I included the contact in the logged meeting, so I believe it should have enrolled. When enrolling the same contact manually the workflow worked

@Jaynums event-based workflows only trigger if the workflow is on while you make the change in meeting outcome. Just to confirm, was that the case?

Yes, the workflow is on when I am testing

@Jaynums in that case, I’d recommend reaching out to HubSpot support in-app directly, via chat or email. It’s hard to say from a distance what’s happening but it sounds like it’s not behaving as expected.

Ok thanks for the advice, will see what they say!
