In Sales>Meetings>Meeting>Scheduling>Additional Settings there is an option for Minimum Notice Time. It starts with specific denominations like 15mins, 30mins up to 6 hours. Then it starts list 1 day, 3 days, 7days.
I just confirmed with a support rep that 1day means EXACTLY 24hrs before the potential meeting time, so if the meeting is 11am on 10/6 I can book it up to 10:59am on 10/5. That is really specific and silly. It would be more helpful use the 1 day denomination to mean the night before. So regardless of the time of the meeting on 10/6 I can register for it up to 11:59pm on 10/5.
Even if we were to keep 1 day as 24 hours it would still be extremely helpful to have a “Night Before” cut off option. We only need to prevent same day registrations, we do not care if they book their meeting 11am or 11pm, we rather they have more time to decide and confirm as long as it doesn’t come in same day.
Who - Any account using the Sales Meeting Calendar
Goal - Add a useful/necessary option to the Minimum Notice Time feature to prevent ONLY same day registrations
Value - We want to give our customers as much time as they need to book meetings, the current 24 from the exact time of the meeting option is pedantic and unhelpful. The only thing we are trying to prevent is same day registrations.
