There is no way right now (that I know of) to automate Meeting/Call Type and Outcomes. We tie meetings to our customer health scores and not being able to automate these feels like a huge miss in HubSpot. I manually go through every week and categorize all the meetings and have the team start to log meeting outcome, which I feel should be automatic. If a meeting get cancelled, we really can’t automate the meeting outcome to “Cancelled”?
Additionally, you cannot create workflows from tools like Zapier that do things like change the meeting name to canceled, no show, rescheduled, etc. because searching for the exiting meeting is not possible. This can make it difficult to then track the number of meetings in each outcome category or meeting type.
For example, I want to create a report that says x number of meetings are booked and break it down by the % of meetings in each outcome category or % of meetings in each meeting type.
Since you cannot update meetings that exist automatically, and because canceled meetings are automatically deleted from the activity feed, it means you must do one of the following:
- Manually log and update meetings individually
- Create additional meetings automatically with a title description of the meeting type or outcome
--- Additionally with this - to track the outcome- you’d have to create a custom property for Last Meeting Outcome - which still does not break down past meeting outcomes.
