Marketing email (web version) HubSpot (system) domains in free account

Hi everyone,

a customer of mine received this message:
We noticed you have Marketing email (web version) HubSpot (system) domains in your account, but your new plan doesn’t allow them. They will automatically be removed on 1 giu 2025.
I’m trying to understand what to do with the KB but I’m not lucky.

The customer had a Marketing Starter plan but did not renew it. Now he has the free one. Can you please help?

Thank you,

Hi @Stefb,

This is referring to this web version: Create versions of marketing emails that are viewed in browser

Since this requires a paid Marketing hub subscription, existing web version URLs will not be available anymore and you won’t be able to create any new ones. These will be automatically removed and the only way to prevent this from happening would be upgrading to a paid Marketing hub subscription.

So, good news: you don’t need to do anything. Bad news: existing web version URLs will not be available anymore.

Best regards!

So emails will not have the web version anymore?

@Stefb no, these will not be available anymore.

Hi, I’ve upgraded to the Marketing Professional Tier but for the life of me cannot find where to enable the web version. I’ve looked at all the instructions but do not have that option.

The warning is just letting you know that there are domains connected to content types they no longer have access to. It is not breaking or harming anything and they will be automatically removed at the date mentioned.

You can also remove it by going to Settings > Content > Domains & URLs > Hover over the “Marketing Email (web version” one and click Actions then Disconnect.

Hi @Stefb

It is simply not an option to have web version of an email on a free account.

So, like the message states, their new “free” tier does not allow for it. Not much that can be done apart from upgrading to the Starter version again.
