Marketing Email Activity Filters in Workflow > Select Multiple Emails

Hi,

To start off, this is a feature that is very easy to set-up in competitor products like Marketo.

Essentially, I would like to see the Marketing Emails filter improved so that instead of selecting a single email, youcan select multiple emails or a group of emails under a camapign.

Benefits and Use Case

  • Major benefit here is lets say I want to enable the same set of actions for all the emails under a campaign. The cmapaign has 10 emails. I would need to create 10 workflows to accomplish this versus 1 (so scalability is a problem here)
  • Use case
    • I want to sync marketing outcomes from a campaign of emails to Salesforce via the set salesforce campaign action
    • Goal is to sync opens, clicks, responses to Salesforce
    • I have to create a workflow for each email seperately as opposed to just one workflow that triggers off of any aciton from a group of emails

Thanks

Yes, I agree. This would be the addition of an “is any of” option.

I have just come accross a use case where I would like to use keywords in the email name to watch a number of emails to see if they have been opened.

In fact any kind of filtering based upon the name of the asset would be great.

Currently you have to tick in specific emails when filtering for Email Name.
It would be a significant value added if you could choose a subset of emails using “Contains any of” and other filters like this. This would enable the use of naming conventions to choose emails belonging to a specific category dynamically.
