# Marketing API free?

Hello,

I am a bit confused on what parts of the Marketing API (if any) are accessible through Hubspot’s free tier. According to [this page](https://developers.hubspot.com/apisbytier) , there should be some parts of that API that are available for free users. However, when I try to access those features through the API I get a permissions error. For reference, I am hoping to be able to get basic info on emails that I’ve sent out along with clicks, opens, unsubscribes, etc. Would appreciate any pointers on this!

Hi @AGutierrez63,

For the use case you mentioned, you would want to use the [Marketing Email](https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/guides/api/marketing/emails/marketing-emails) API endpoint. However, it looks like it is only available for Marketing Hub Professional or Enterprise tiers.

I agree that the page you referenced probably needs an update to better reflect the available API endpoints and what tiers they are available on. I have submitted feedback to hopefully make the information more clear on the tier page.
