Hi, there team!
I see this idea (https://community.hubspot.com/t5/HubSpot-Ideas/Ability-to-manually-enter-feedback-against-records/idi-p/550278)(“Ability to manually enter feedback against records”)
is being reviewed but the customer and I would like to ask for help from our devs partners to see not a workaround but to associate a feedback submission to a contact’s record manually.
To give some context, a contract was created on Nov 9th, and filled out a survey on Nov 10th. In the feedback, there is a field to enter the email (customer completed all spaces) but since he opened it in an incognito window and there were no cookies accepted, the feedback was not linked.
We are NOT looking to add a note in the contact’s record nor to resend the feedback survey via email ( as originally performed the test to reproduce where to open an email with the feedback survey button sent, it opened a new tab and there the feedback was left)
If you (the Dev partners) have questions on the specific case please slack me
Hi, @LMerchán
Thanks for reaching out. This is an interesting question. We have the Feedback Submissions endpoints, but they are currently in beta and may not be suitable for your production project.
Hey, @DanielSanchez @louischausse @Jnix284 @nikodev, have you worked on similar challenges in your client work?
Thank you! — Jaycee
Hello!
Are you looking for a one time thing for one contact or an automated
workflow that will monitor for when those cases happen and then
automatically associate orphan feedback submissions with contacts?
In both cases, we’ve done this with the beta endpoint mentioned above.
Do you have a developer who can do this for you?
If not, we can help you with that.
Cheers
Hello! I also want to associate a contact record id to a feedback submission id (so that it doesn’t shown as ‘Unknown Contact’ when I look at the results). Can you give me an example of how I can do that with the frontend library you have? We are really stuck on this problem and dont want to have to use a another surveying tool.
