Looking for any advice or examples of people managing Pipelines with this challenge today.
We have multiple sister companies that may or may not cross-sell services across each other.
When 2+ sister companies are collaborating on 1 deal, how to manage that across separate pipelines, but still show the connection in 1 deal?
I’m stuck on whether or not all companies should manage deals within 1 pipeline or if we should use multiple pipelines?
Would love any advice, experiences, failures, successes!
When they collaborate, you mean they are working the same deal together? Are all reps in direct contact with the lead/ client in this case?
The alternative would be all are brands are working a deal with separate pricing, operating as separate brands and all reps in contact with the lead/ customer separately? (I’ve had both.)
Different recommendations based on your answer, so let me know! ![]()
Collaborate would mean working on the same deeal together. All reps could be in contact with the lead, or may take a backseat role.
Each company or rep would have their own set of pricing to add to the deal. Example: 2 quotes, for two separate sets of services being combined into 1 proposal.
Thank you! Super helpful.
My recommendation would be to use teams and/ or brand units to manage the various sister companies, but use the same pipeline. The teams will need to have access to view/ edit each other’s deals, but you can still see what team or brand unit started the deal and who the contributors are in that case.
Hope that helps!
