# Managing ROI

I am new to HubSpot. How would I associate a campaign to a contact and then to an opportunity? Essentially, we’d like to measure how many of the contacts that visited our booth at a trade show actually converted to an opportunity. Would someone please walk me through step by step instructions?

Hi @KScanlon,

You can’t associate single contacts with a campaign but static lists.

As a first step, you would create a static list for your campaign and add your contact to this list: [https://knowledge.hubspot.com/lists/add-or-remove-contacts-from-a-list#add-or-remove-contacts-from-a…](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/lists/add-or-remove-contacts-from-a-list#add-or-remove-contacts-from-a-static-list)

Navigate to your campaign (_Menu_ \> _Marketing_ \> _Campaigns_), click the _Add assets_ button and select _Static lists_. Your list should show up here and you can now associate it with the campaign. If you have more contacts, simply add them to the static list.

These contacts would now be associated with the campaign and they should be inluded in the _Performance_ and _Attribution_ tab of your campaign (_Menu_ \> _Marketing_ \> _Campaigns_).
