Make Lead Name available when creating Leads in bulk

Hi HubSpot Community,

When creating a single Lead record, HubSpot allows users to manually enter a Lead Name.

However, when bulk-creating Leads from CRM views such as Contacts, Companies, or Segments, the Lead Name property does not seem to be available. HubSpot therefore creates/defaults the Lead Name automatically.

It would be very helpful to be able to define the Lead Name when creating Leads in bulk.

For example, if Leads are created from a list of contacts who submitted a website form, we may want the Leads to be named:

“Website Lead”

This would make it much easier for sales teams to understand the context of the Lead directly in the Leads pipeline.

Dynamic naming, such as “Website Lead: {Company Name}”, would also be useful — but the main need is simply to be able to control the Lead Name during bulk creation.
