Hi all, we’re relatively new to HubSpot (\<1 year) but we’ve been using Forms and CTAs in different locations throughout our (external) website and they’ve been working great. Or so I thought. While investigating an issue with an embedded button CTA that links to a popover CTA, a whole host of other problems unspooled:

1. First, _none_ of our popover or slide-in CTAs are working on Safari. I typically use Chrome. We have about 9 different slide-ins or popovers on different parts of the site, and absolutely none of them appear on Safari. I’ve cleared cache and tried a private browser window, and I have no extensions installed, so I’m pretty sure the issue is not my browser.
2. Second, every single time I pull the embed code for a given CTA, the embed code changes. The string of characters in the https url is different. Is this right? The scripts for our embedded forms do not change if I call up the embed code again. It’s really hard to troubleshoot a problem with an embedded button if you can’t check the code against a stable one within HubSpot.
3. We also make liberal use of embedded CTAs like buttons to track clicks throughout our site. The embed code always contain two ampersands in the url. Example:

\<div class=“hs-cta-embed hs-cta-simple-placeholder hs-cta-embed-181387518057”

style=“max-width:100%; max-height:100%; width:210px;height:42.390625px” data-hubspot-wrapper-cta-id=“181387518057”\>

\<a href="[https://cta-service-cms2.hubspot.com/web-interactives/public/v1/track/redirect?encryptedPayload=AVxigLLEzd8QxWYUyP%2FHeJoAc53xgsxhlxp4yXYYZu%2BS%2Ff4cbcGEMmDkMz33k5ZcDWt4hB%2FZZg%2B6qIyTsC9HY3RlTWww5PR8JShdKHK%2FC58gcbMnU%2FpBF3bClctWTr1V74HseSkdJyEn6J7EJc68O14wjI4BQw%3D%3D](https://cta-service-cms2.hubspot.com/web-interactives/public/v1/track/redirect?encryptedPayload=AVxigLLEzd8QxWYUyP%2FHeJoAc53xgsxhlxp4yXYYZu%2BS%2Ff4cbcGEMmDkMz33k5ZcDWt4hB%2FZZg%2B6qIyTsC9HY3RlTWww5PR8JShdKHK%2FC58gcbMnU%2FpBF3bClctWTr1V74HseSkdJyEn6J7EJc68O14wjI4BQw%3D%3D)

&

webInteractiveContentId=181387518057

&

portalId=24453346" target=“\_blank” rel=“noopener” crossorigin=“anonymous”\>

```
\<img alt="Get Access" loading="lazy" src="https://no-cache.hubspot.com/cta/default/24453346/interactive-181387518057.png" style="height: 100%; width: 100%; object-fit: fill"
  onerror="this.style.display='none'" />
```

\</a\>

\</div\>

Every single time this embed code is inserted into my site, the ampersands change to **&** which in many cases breaks the url and prevents the CTA from working. Changing it back to an ampersand does not work—the code changes again when the page is saved.

Has anyone encountered similar issues?

Edit to add: in Safari Website Settings, Enable Content Blockers is unchecked, and Popup Windows is Allow.

Hey @EFreyer,

Safari can sometimes handle scripts differently due to its privacy settings. I would recommend to double-check the settings for cross-site tracking and pop-up blocking, as these may be affecting your slide-in and [popover CTAs](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/ctas/create-calls-to-action). For the changing embed codes, HubSpot often generates unique tracking identifiers, so try refreshing the [CTA](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/ctas/create-calls-to-action)in your dashboard before embedding.

Hope this helps, and feel free to reach out with any follow-up!
