Mail logging doesnt work

Hi,

Ive setup a connection with Gmail for logging the mails in CRM.

I use the “default” mail app from Mac (apple mail) and there I have the G-mail account from Google Workspace installed.

I gave Hubspot every right to perform these actions but there doenst seem to be logging anything.

Am I doing something wrong? Can anyone help me out?

Hi @EW-7,

How exactly are you sending these emails? The email connection alone is not enough, it is just one of many requirements. You would have to either use one of the sales extensions or use the BCC address:

If you share more details about how you are sending emails, I can elaborate.

Thanks for the quick reply.

We are all sending emails only using the defailt mail app on the macbook.

That would be the explanation then, please see my previous reply. You would have to use the extensions, the BCC address or send directly from the HubSpot CRM for emails to log.
