Gray Mondays

Hello, hello, Community :umbrella_with_rain_drops:

Today has been a gray Monday where I am located, Bogotá, Colombia. Personally, I always find gray Mondays difficult, so I want to talk a bit about this.

How to navigate burnout?
Impatience
What do people do in their “free” time?
What to do when I want to feel free all the time?

I take a breath and read,
And I feel less alone
I feel that my longings are not absurd

Even if my hair falls out in clumps,
Sometimes I can’t get comfortable due to pain,
The quality of life I want, I already have it
And the one I want is possible

How grateful I am to be able to fall asleep thinking only of possibilities.

Gaining perspective

And that is my greatest motivation: the possibilities I am granted by continuing to work. Not always with a smile, not always wanting to “conquer the world,” because not every day has to be a good day. It’s okay to give ourselves space to simply feel our emotions on the surface, without judging ourselves; but still managing to do what I must, to always be a little closer to what I want.

Today’s photos are little reminders of what I can experience thanks to my work, my routines, my decisions, and on days like today, gray Mondays, I like to remember these wonderful moments that make days like this feel less heavy, because they still have meaning.

The beauty of waiting

I have always

enjoyed the time it takes me to get from one place to another; when I wait, I listen to music, or breathe, observe, and I always notice something new, I get inspired. Waiting inspires me.

Hugs,

Sin duda, los lunes son mejores desde que escribes acá
