Hello HubSpot Team,
I created this temporary account because I lost access to my original HubSpot account due to two-factor authentication (2FA). I no longer have access to the device where the authentication app was installed, and I do not have any backup codes saved.
Here are the details of the account I need to recover:
- Account Email: m.fouad@medplus.academy
- Company Name: MedPlus Academy
- Issue: Lost access due to 2FA, and unable to verify identity via the app.
Please let me know how I can verify my identity or submit a request to disable 2FA temporarily. I am ready to provide any ID or ownership proof needed.
Thank you!
Hi @mfouad2 ,
According to HubSpot’s documentation, if you’ve lost access to your two-factor authentication (2FA) device, you’ll need to request a 2FA reset. This process may take 48–72 hours to ensure the security of your account:
If you’re on a paid plan, a Super Admin on your account may be able to assist with regaining access through the User Management panel.
Otherwise, you can fill out HubSpot’s account recovery form here: Recover your inactive HubSpot account
This form is specifically for users locked out of their accounts. Once submitted, HubSpot’s team will contact you to verify your identity and help you regain access.
Hope this helps! Let us know how it goes.
