Looking for PRM deployment bests practices (Partners Relationship Management)

Hello,

For one of my clients using the Sales Hub Enterprise & Marketing Hub Pro, we’re considering implementing a PRM (Partner Relationship Management) and MLM (multi-level Marketing) systems within HubSpot or through integration with a third-party tool.

In the case of the HubSpot implementation, I’ve started thinking about the data model and the use of custom objects.

Do you have any best practices and resources you could share with me on this topic?

I can share my progress if anyone is interested, of course.

Thanks for your help and I look forward to hearing from you! :folded_hands:

Thanks!

Thanks a lot @DianaGomez for the share! :star_struck:

Thanks for the tag @DianaGomez - and for sharing the Rocket PRM info in that other forum question linked.

Hi @Gael_Guerder. You’re definitely exploring interesting territory. We built the Rocket PRM solution here at Impulse Creative to help with exactly what your client is considering. It turns the CRM into a PRM with custom objects and private content.

I think the biggest best practice I think about is the data model. How will you associate objects/records to each other, what data points live where, and ensuring you’re able to show the Partners that data with dashboards.

Happy to chat or put you in touch with our folks if you’re intertested!

Hi @DianaGomez, thank you for pinging us!

@Gael, great question!

In terms of “data model” we typically see 3 ways on how to attribute partners to CRM objects (including custom objects). You can either use a custom property, an association label or a custom object to attribute partner objects. Here’s a blogpost including video’s on how this attribution works in HubSpot.

Introw is a PRM (partnership relationship management) platform that integrates with HubSpot. Allowing you to launch a partner portal in minutes. You can start for free so definitely check it out :).
