Looking for More Practical Learning Resources Beyond HubSpot Academy

Hi HubSpot Community,

I’m currently learning HubSpot through HubSpot Academy, including courses like Email Marketing, CRM, Marketing Hub, and others.

The Academy content is well organized and helpful for understanding concepts, but I’ve noticed that most courses are primarily theory-based, with videos, slides, and PDFs explaining the topics.

I’m looking for more hands-on, practical learning resources where I can actually implement everything that’s covered in the courses. For example, I’d like to see real-world demonstrations of creating campaigns, workflows, lists, segmentation, reports, automation, emails, CRM processes, and other HubSpot features in a practical environment.

Are there any official HubSpot resources, sandbox environments, demo portals, YouTube channels, or community tutorials that focus more on practical implementation rather than theory?

I would really appreciate any recommendations from those who have learned HubSpot through hands-on practice.

Thank you!

Hi @arjunkhankriyal,

Great question, and you’re already thinking about it the right way! Here are a few resources worth exploring:

Free HubSpot Account — The best hands-on practice is a free HubSpot account. You can build real workflows, lists, emails, and reports without needing a live database. It’s essentially your own sandbox.

HubSpot Academy — Some certifications include guided exercises built into the course. Look for those as you progress through your track.

HubSpot YouTube Channel — Lots of walkthrough-style videos showing features in action inside an actual portal.

Community Guides & Tutorials — Right here in the Community, members post step-by-step breakdowns of real use cases. Worth searching by topic (workflows, lists, reporting, etc.).

HubSpot User Groups (HUGs) — Live and virtual meetups where practitioners share real implementations. Great for seeing how others actually use the tool day-to-day.

The free account is really the biggest unlock — just start building things, even if they’re not for a real business. That’s where most of the learning happens!

I hope this helps!
