I am looking for the APIs to send/ receive message to the live chat.
Actually, I have a system where I can create a chat, send a message and receive messages using API call. So is there any public API availabe on HubSpot, so that I can achive this.

Hey @AnubhavGupta for the support inbox, you can send and receive messages through the inbox api here.
For chatbots, you want to set up a chatbot and then use webhooks to send and receive data.

Hey @AnubhavGupta I don’t believe this is possible, out of curiosity what’s the usecase? Would you not always want a contact to initiate a conversation?
So my use case is like:
I want to have custom widget for my website, where customer can enter their name and email/contact, and they should be able connect with the agents from hubspot.
I know there is a chat SDK availabe, but I wanted to create some custom widget. So for that I need to know the APIs, to initiate the conversation.
However can you please suggest some way to achive this
I think the chat SDK is the closet you’re going to get really! I don’t think there’s another API to check agent availability in HubSpot.

is there is any open source api or webhooks for sending message from visitor to hubspot agent side like if iam hitting the above endpoint then its showing
“Actor type VISITOR is not supported for sending”
