Looking for 3 HubSpot users to install my free app for Marketplace approval

Hi everyone — I’ve built a free HubSpot app and I’m looking for 3 HubSpot accounts outside my organization who’d be willing to install it and keep it active while I complete the Marketplace approval process.

What it does

DeskCrew helps with HubSpot contact workflows and contact data actions.

What I’m asking

  • Install the app in your HubSpot account
  • Keep it active during the review period
  • Share any quick feedback if you’re open to it

Permissions requested

This app asks for:

  • Read contacts
  • Write contacts

If you’re open to helping, reply here or install directly using the link above. I’m also happy to answer questions first before anyone installs.

Thanks in advance — I’d really appreciate the help from the HubSpot developer community.

Hello @Webmillsauto, you might want to share a bit more info about the app and how it deals with data, specially since it’s accessing Contact information.

Maybe sharing a link to a Privacy Policy or similar would be helpful

Hello,

You can read it here Privacy Policy · DeskCrew.

The app has 2 sides to it for management.

You human side, can use it as a self ppoulated knowledge base, setup your own changelog if you are running software updates, update a roadmap and even run surveys to capture your users feedback.

So with hubspot, it adds a chat icon, which automatically answers any questions for you based on the information you populated the KB with, so its an AI agent to provide support for users on hubspot 24/7.

The way i like to use it is if you use any AI model like ChatGPT, Claude, it doenst matter which LLM, you can connect to it through MCP then the agent can populate your entire knowledge base in about 3 minutes, roadmap and keep your change log updated.

If you wanted to go a step further you can fund a question you need answered with USDC, then anon agents from around the world will answer that question for you, and you can decide on the best answer, then it is publised on the web for AI search engine optimization pointing back to your website.

How it works within Hubspot.

What it looks at. When you connect HubSpot, the app never pulls your contact list. It only looks up a contact when one of your own customers opens a support ticket, and it looks up exactly one record, by that customer’s email address. If nobody has opened a ticket, nothing in your CRM is touched at all. There is no scheduled sync, no bulk import, and no background job crawling your contacts.

What it writes. The only thing it ever writes back is a short note on that one contact’s timeline: the ticket number, the subject line, and a link back to the ticket. It never edits a contact’s fields, never creates deals, and never touches any other object in your CRM.

What gets stored on our side. We don’t keep a copy of your contact list. Every lookup is a live call to HubSpot at the moment it’s needed, then nothing about that contact is saved. The only thing we store is the connection itself (an access token, encrypted), so the app can keep talking to your HubSpot account without you reconnecting it every time.

Who can turn it on. Only an admin on your account can connect HubSpot in the first place, and disconnecting it at any time stops all of this immediately.

What happens if something doesn’t match. If a ticket’s email doesn’t match a HubSpot contact, or HubSpot isn’t connected, the app just skips it quietly. It never blocks or breaks a support ticket over this.

So the short version: no bulk contact access, no CRM sync, no stored copy of customer data, one note per ticket, and it can be switched off in one click.
