Hi everyone,
I’m looking for 3 beta testers for a HubSpot app I’ve been building called Japan CRM Cleaner.
It’s designed for teams managing Japanese customer or company data in HubSpot — including global teams whose CRM contains a mix of Japanese and non-Japanese records.
The app helps detect and safely review issues such as:
-
full-width / half-width character inconsistencies
-
Japanese phone number formatting
-
Japanese postal code formatting
-
company name variations such as (株), ㈱, and 株式会社
-
spacing and character-width inconsistencies
-
Japanese address formatting
-
similar issues in mapped custom properties
-
postal code and address inconsistencies
For example, if a Japanese record has a postal code that corresponds to Osaka but the CRM record says Tokyo, Japan CRM Cleaner can flag it for review using official Japan Post postal code reference data.
It does not automatically overwrite the address.
The basic workflow is:
Scan → Review → Preview → Apply → Monitor
A Scan is read-only and never changes your HubSpot CRM data.
For changes that can be safely normalized, the app shows a Before → After comparison before anything is applied.
It also includes:
-
Bulk Fix
-
Custom Property Mapping
-
Continuous Cleaner
-
Scheduled Scan
-
Change History
-
Undo
-
Japanese / English UI
-
mixed-country safety
I’ve also been careful about portals that contain data from multiple countries.
Japan-specific rules are skipped for records explicitly identified as non-Japanese. If the country is unknown, Japan-specific automatic fixes are disabled for safety.
The beta is currently free.
I’m especially interested in feedback from:
-
teams using HubSpot in Japan
-
global teams managing Japanese CRM data
-
HubSpot partners supporting Japanese customers
For the first test, I recommend simply running a read-only Scan. If you decide to test an actual change, start with one high-confidence suggestion and verify the result directly in HubSpot.
You can see more here:
If this is relevant to your HubSpot portal, please reply here or send me a message. I’d really appreciate feedback on both the detected issues and whether this kind of ongoing data-quality monitoring would be useful to you.
Thanks!
