# Log Shared Email Automatically

**Q** : Can we forward shared email addresses like [info@company.com](mailto:info@company.com) or [sales@company.com](mailto:sales@company.com) to Hubspot and then manage the leads there??

**Short A** : Not a best practice. (not recommended)

Because role-based and reserved email addresses often represent multiple recipients, they generate many spam complaints. To prevent unnecessary spam complaints, many email platforms restrict these email addresses on imports and don’t send email to reserved email addresses.

Even if an email platform currently allows the use of role-based email, continued support for role-based email isn’t guaranteed and is more likely to be deprecated with little or no warning. As a best practice, avoid using role-based email for sales &/or marketing applications.

In HubSpot accounts that have access to conversations, any user in the account can use conversations as long as they are included as a team member on the inbox. Conversations allows multiple HubSpot users to share and manage an inbox.
