Log Email Open and Click

Hi,

I’m trying to search for an API to log Open and Click info to a contact for an email sent outside the platform. I came across the API given at Accounts Dashboard | HubSpot but it only supports hs_email_status values BOUNCED, FAILED, SCHEDULED, SENDING, or SENT.

Is there an API to log Opens and Clicks?

You are not missing an option. There is not a specific API endpoint to directly log email opens and clicks for emails sent outside of HubSpot. The CRM Email API you’ve found allows for logging emails with specific status values, but it’s more about the email’s delivery status rather than interactions such as opens and clicks.

So is there any other way to log Opens and Clicks? For emails sent natively from Hubspot i can see Opens and Clicks and a timeline of events for the email. Is it possible to do the same for emails sent outside of Hubspot?
