Anybody else have a problem with creating active/smart lists in Starter? I’ve contacted support but no help yet. I’ve reproduced the problem on multiple computers. I can only use the most basic criteriea, such as “is known” or “is known.” Contains will not allow me to use it. If these tools are not accessible in Starter for active/smart lists it’s not communicated on their website.
That image you posted of the description of Marketing Starter is what I used to make my decision along with numerous chats with the sales team. If the functionality is 25 active/smart lists then all the features should be available. It doesn’t say 25 smart lists with only a fraction of the criteria selections.
I’m about to call the credit card company I paid for it with and refuse the charge. I really like HubSpot (own their stock) but this is very frustrating.

The field that you are referring to in your screenshot won’t pull options that have been submitted in the database. If you type the name of the city you are looking to filter by and then press tab, it will allow you to enter that field in there. That should work as described, if not…there may be another issue.
At the same time, yes, you do have limitations with what you can use to create the active lists on the marketing platform, unfortunately.
Typing the criteria worked. Not intuititive, at least to me. I don’t recall it being that way in the past, so that’s what got me stuck.

What it says is “list critera limited to contact properties…” and I was specifically asking about contact properties. It doesn’t say only a fraction of the criteria. At leat try to be helpful.
