Currently lists are centered on contacts not companies. It would be helpful to center it on companies (the option is already there, but can only get quality data when associating a company with a contact) because there are also times we need to see our contacts through the company we are working with. The contacts change all the time but at the end of the day we are making deals with the companies rather than specific contacts.
Instead of a company associated with any contact, why can’t we have it the other way around? We have the data, and if we can do it with specific contacts, why not companies? I noticed the company option in lists is not as extensive in filtering compared to contacts, it’s kind of useless because it’s there and allows you to make filtering options like in contact mode, but it just won’t work, unless you associate it with any contact. To me this part of lists feels broken or unfinished.
For example, I have 2 lists and I am trying to see which contacts (that have company associations) are a part of both, this works. However, when I am trying to see which companies only are mentioned in both lists, because a lot of the time there are multiple contacts tied to the same company, it won’t work unless they are associated with a specific contact from those lists. I would have to do this manually or through another platform.
