Can anyone think of a way I can create a dynamic list/segment that catches all contacts with a shared inbox email address that come into HubSpot? I’m thinking of accounting, [accountspayable@,](mailto:accountspayable@,) [messages@,](mailto:messages@,) [campaigns@,](mailto:campaigns@,) transactions@

Hi @alexagatiss,

This is a great use case for generative AI, with the tool of your choice. I’m not aware of any exhaustive lists but you could easily prompt an AI for a list of name parts of email addresses that hint at them being shared rather than belonging to individuals.

Depending on the departments your interested in, I would also consider:

- team
- contact
- sales
- service
- noreply
- inquiries
- enquiries
- info

Best regards!

Ok, there are some business emails that contain these words after the @ sign. Is there a way to sort “email contains any of” but only before the @ sign, not after.

Hey @alexagatiss,
Working from @karstenkoehler’s recommendation, the closest way to achieve this would be with the “[contains exactly](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/records/view-and-filter-records#select-filter-criteria:~:text=contains%20exactly%3A%20enter,an%20exact%20match.)” filter in your segment and including the ‘example@’ text. If there’s an email that uses the same nomenclature, but after the @, it still shouldn’t catch the filter, as the text isn’t an exact match.
Also curious to know if Karsten has any other thoughts here.

@alexagatiss sure, simply specify “Email contains any of […] AND Email domain doesn’t contain any of […]” where […] is the list of keywords you’re using.
