Hi @gshiroor,
There is no feature to automatically add an exclusion list to every new marketing email you create. You would have to create an exclusion list, then add it manually for each send.
There are a few ways you could achieve a smooth behavior here:
- If you have a subscription type for distributors and a subscription type for non-distributors, you could opt the non-distributors out of the distributor subscription type. That would automatically exclude them from these mailings. It is however not 100% safe if a non-distributor chooses to opt into the distributor subscription type or if a user accidentally opt a non-distributor into the distributor subscription type.
- Create suppression lists that are mandatory for every email, train everyone to use them and name them clearly, e.g. “Marketing suppression list | Use for distributor emails” and “Marketing suppression list | Use for non-distributor emails”. That way, users get into the habit and a speaking list title makes it easier for them to remember which one to use.
Have a great day!
