Linking e-commerce order to a prior lead record

Hello!

I am looking for a solution that would enable me to take a “completed order” in the future and tie it back to a prior lead.

We are in final stages of website development, but our sales team is nurturing leads and taking orders by phone. What we’d like to do is find a function that would allow a future e-commerce order to tie to a pre-existing customer record.

There are options for both WooCommerce and Shopify that do this matching based on the contact email address. Personally, I recommend MakeWebBetter for WooCommerce, and HubSpot has its own native connection to Shopify, but Unific maps over a lot more fields for a very minimal price.
