Linking accounts versus marketplace social apps

New to hubspot and just getting set up. Can anyone advise - if I have connected my business social accounts to Hubspot already - do I need to download FB, IG apps from hubspot marketplace? Is there any value in doing this? Do the apps provide any additional insights or functionality? I’m confused as to the difference. Thanks in advance for your help.

I can see why this is confusing, but it really is the same thing. It’s just two ways to start the integration.
