Linking 2 files

I’m trying to link my contacts with their respective company names.

I’ve imported Contacts but not all the data was mapped.

I am using the templates and have created 2 separate files: one for contacts and one for companies, but I don’t know what to do, keep getting errors.

HELP!

Hi @PKhan,

When you import multiple objects (contacts + companies) in separate files, there must be a shared identifier. You can check out these sample import files here to get a better understanding: Format import files

Without these identifiers, they will not be associated upon import.
