Integration with Linkedin ads - i see the data getting tagged as organic social instead of paid social . utm parameters are not getting updated as well eventhough it is set. Any fix?

This is a common issue because of the state of privacy in 2026. Some browsers no longer pass cookie data, and if users have a cookie blocker on (or if you have cookie consent on your site), that can default many users to direct traffic, too. Also, just to double check-- if you’re looking at original source, the original source could be organic while the latest source might be paid.

That said, there are a few things you should make sure you do:

1) Using Google Tag Manager, make sure your tracking is set to persist. By default, if someone moves pages before submitting a form, it will drop the tracking. Setting the tracking to persist will ensure it follows a user throughout their session.

2) I would add hidden fields that capture utm fields (assuming your privacy policy allows) in each form- sometimes this captures more than the HubSpot cookie because of the issues I mentioned above. Here is a link on how to do that: [Pass contact property values with hidden form fields](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/forms/pass-contact-property-values-with-hidden-form-fields)?

Hope that helps!

Thank you @rebeccatravels
Here we are targeting ICP users via audiences and making them land into our website page. there isnt a form ,but ideally the latest traffic source should show paid social ,its not. i confirmed its the dates in which we rean ads and around 5-6 contacts are shown as organic social ,whereas in my hubspot and linkedin reports it show right clicks and impressions,
also the utm parameters are not flowing back to hubspot
