Limited Access to App Marketplace (without Admin Permissions)

Hi everyone,

We need a few team members to have access to the HubSpot App Marketplace so they can install and manage apps — specifically, iCloud integration — but it looks like only admins can currently download apps.

We’d like to avoid giving full admin permissions to everyone.
Is there any way to grant limited access or specific permissions just for app installation?

If not, are there any workarounds or best practices other teams use to handle this securely without giving full admin rights?

Thanks in advance for any advice or suggestions!

Daniel

Hi @DDias72,

There is a dedicated permission for the app marketplace :slightly_smiling_face:

Best regards

Hi Karsten,

Thanks for the reply. I have that on but for the Icloud integration it still request an admin to dowload in!

Thanks,

Daniel

@DDias72 could you please share a screenshot of that notice?

Hi @karstenkoehler,

Apologies for the delay. Please find attached a screenshot. The issue we are facing is actually not the permission to install a new platform rather, its display a error that ask for a specific permission which I assume its the super admin. Unfortunatly, we can’t give super admin to everyone in the company to integrate Icloud. Is there a work around this?

Hey @DDias72 - thanks for this update and context.
To my understanding, a permission requirement, such as Super Admin, is a necessity without any workarounds. But I’m curious to know if @karstenkoehler has come across any.
