Limit the number of line items that can be linked to a deal

Hi,

Is there a way to control the number of line items that can be attached to a deal? For example, if I want to ensure that all deals in a pipeline have no more than 5 line items.

Thanks for reaching out to the Community!

In HubSpot, we don’t have a way to limit the 200 line items that can be associated with a deal. However, one thing you can do is create an active list with the condition “Number of Associated Line Items is greater than 5” to keep track of and communicate with the owners of those deals that have exceeded the allowed line item count.
