We just started to use Hubspot and we thought it might be a good idea to delete some Lifecycle stages because “we know better than Hubspot what we need”. It was a bad idea, now some default report are not working correctly, only shows 1 property (which was default).
We are still on Free version, but i am sure we will upgrade soon.
Is it possible to restore the default Lifecycle stages with their default internal value?
We have only a few contacts, so we can even start fresh, restoring everything.
The default is either subscriber/lead/marketing qualified lead depending on how they came into the system. So there is really no way to reset the field. But having used Hubspot for awhile I am not a fan of their default stages as they typically only work with a basic funnel and are usually outgrown by organization’s at some point. Also to that point, default reports while helpful, can be limiting as well as your business grows and the custom reporting that you can build out in the paid versions is much more powerful than what you are limited to in the free version.
I would like to know the same - I accidentially deleted some Stages and would like to restore them - so also their internal value gets restored. If I just create the stage with the same name, a new ID is assigned.
