hello,

i’m trying to patch/update via API the lifecycle stage of a contact but it dosent work
first- creation works fine

method: “POST”,

headers: {

“Content-Type”: “application/json”,

Authorization: `Bearer ${ACCESS_TOKEN}`,

},

body: JSON.stringify({

properties: {

lifecyclestage: “subscriber”,

},

}),

this works fine for me !!
-second i turned off all automation
(they used to override my changes on contact creation)

third- i added a new stage and used its internal value(which is numbers) with the same patch code and the lifecycle changed !!

this is my patch

method: “PATCH”,

headers: {

“Content-Type”: “application/json”,

Authorization: `Bearer ${ACCESS_TOKEN}`,

},

body: JSON.stringify({

properties: {

lifecyclestage: “subscriber”,

},

}),

i dont know what to do from here to make it work any help please

aaah !! 😒😒
i figured it out, it was the lifecycle stage order
i cant change from customer to subscriber
because subscriber order is before customer order
and since my new stage was last i could change to it anytime !! …
