Hi there @sudha.balla,
The migration did actually complete successfully, but after 6 hours. This, however, is not normal.
The migration processes portals in batches across multiple data centers. 243 of 254 portals were swapped quickly, 10 were inactive portals (which are ignored in the end), but 1 was a portal under going Seamless Portal Migration, which moves portals between HubSpot data centers.
During this maintenance, the app card swaps were automatically deferred and queued for replay after the maintenance completed. This is expected behavior — the replay window is typically 24-48 hours, and in this case it completed within approximately 6 hours.
Most developers will not experience this, but it can happen! We want to ensure all customers get their replaced cards, so sometimes migration can take longer, as in this case. We recommend reaching out to support if a migration is stuck more that 24 hours.
The migration finished at 12:17 PM UTC on August 22. The “Review & Migrate” screen was showing “in progress” during the deferral period because the remaining portals had not yet been swapped. Once the replay completed, the migration was marked as done.
You should now see the success message and the option to delete the old CRM card when you revisit the “Review & Migrate” screen.
Also, to give assurance to anyone else who comes across this community thread:
During an in-progress migration, the legacy CRM card remains visible to customers — functionality is not broken, just temporarily showing both cards.
I hope this helps!
