# Leads Object API

how can I get leads and their properties through API?

There is no “leads” object in Documentation.

Hi @AlexKulikov ,

Sadly, the lead object is not accessible through the API. You can submit an [idea](https://community.hubspot.com/t5/HubSpot-Ideas/Leads-object-edit-add-properties/idi-p/842911), but I’m pretty sure it’s already on the roadmap of HubSpot.

Can we get confirmation if this is actually being worked on? My org needs a Lead Object API to be able to fully utilize leads…
