# Lead Stage Workflow Triggers

Is there any way to update a contact or company Lifecycle Stage or Lead Status based on the change of the Lead Stage property on a Lead?  
Right now, it doesn’t seem there’s any inter-connectivity between Leads and Contacts.

Is this in the pipeline? We currently have our sales people marking Leads as “Unqualified” and then manually updating the associated Contact’s Lead Status and Lifecycle Stage properties.

Hey @SPurdon

you can turn on this feature to sync the Lifecycle stage between leads and contact and companies.

to set this up go to settings\> Data Mangement\> Leads

Hi @SPurdon,

This can be specified in the lead settings (Settings \> Objects \> Leads).

If you want more flexibility, there are lead-based workflows, requiring a Sales Hub Professional subscription:
