Hi HS experts!
I’m trying to figure out how to build a report that could be used to track conversion times, from Lead to MQL, then MQL to SQL and then from SQL to Opty. I’ve got as far as creating new calculation properties for these dates:

 ![34775iFAAD5613F5EE4D14.png](https://d2qpr2jzcazej7.cloudfront.net/original/3X/b/3/b3f0aec0151e3e76fb22bd84a492179ba15a9687.png)

but I can’t for the life of me figure out how to create a proper report based on multiple calculation fields that would make any sense at all. I guess the simplest thing I’d be happy with is something like this:

 ![34776i376765DDAA69BA29.png](https://d2qpr2jzcazej7.cloudfront.net/original/3X/2/3/23d8cc3e520b1b956526d9c92224e9af2546502c.png)

Or if possible the same thing for each sales rep / SDR.
I can’t help but feel that this should be really simple and I’m just not bright enough to figure this out, so I thought it was time to turn to the experts.

Thanks in advance!

Hi @DanielSEON,

This should be really simple, agreed, but it’s not (yet). There is an [ongoing thread](https://community.hubspot.com/t5/HubSpot-Ideas/Calculate-and-Report-on-the-Time-between-Two-Properties/idi-p/36604#comments) in the HubSpot Ideas section of the community about this. For deals, the HubSpot product team has added “Time in x stage”, the equivalent for lifecycle phases isn’t available yet. I’d recommend adding a comment with your use case.

Currently, you have to create multiple reports (one for each calculation property).

Hope this helps!

Hi @karstenkoehler , thank you for your prompt reply! Could you please provide some guidance on how the report should be made for each calculation property? I’ve just tried to create a custom report based on just one of them, but I didn’t quite manage to get it right.

Hi @DanielSEON,

Sure, happy to. Your configuration could look like the one below:

![]()

Measure by your “Time in” property and select average. The other property under “Displaying” could be anything that’s relevant for you, for example:

_Became a_ [lifecycle phase] _date_ + set report frequency to _Monthly_ or _Yearly_

_Contact owner_

_Company size_

Hope this helps!

@karstenkoehler This is brilliant. I just did this for my chief and it was very straightforward.
Small caveat. This isn’t “Time in MQL phase” - it’s Time from MQL to SQL - so it doesn’t account for MQLs that are still unqualified today.
I am now grappling with this. I have created a “Today” field but I can’t work out how to make a calculation/report for “Time as MQL” - that includes all those unqualified MQLs up to today.
Do you have anyideas?
