Do I need separate domain for landing page and website?

I used to work in company A. They had only 1 domain for homepage and all landing pages for 1 product.

for example, website is a.com, and the landing pages are:

- a.com/landing1

- a.com/landing2

But then when I worked in other company. They have 1 domain for main website, then all landing pages are on another domain.

Which ways should I follow?

Both are valid ways of doing it.

When you say landing pages were on another domain, do you mean a sub-domain, like offers.company.com or a completely different domain?

Sub-domains are often used when the actual website is not hosten in HubSpot. I personally prefer sub-domains becaus it helps bucket content.
