Knowledge base migration - Draft article content erased if you update article order in categories

Hi,

This post is to check if some other Knowledge base users are having the same troubles as I am.

Since the Knowledge base migration, if I update some articles without publishing the updates (let them in draft mode) and then reorganize articles in categories/subcategories, all the changes in draft mode are gone…

I’ve been in contact with Hubspot support since the 9th of April.

They were able to put my changes in, but never proposed a bug correction.

This will really help me if others can testify to the same problem.

To resume:

In the legacy knowledge base, you were able to make changes in articles without publishing them immediately.

Which is a key feature for a knowledge base when you want to publish a bunch of updates at the same time, for example.

And you could change the order of the articles at the same time.

In the migrated knowledge base, if you do that, you lose all your changes.

It happened to me 2 times in the last month, and now I have only the recommendation from Hubspot to not let articles in draft…

Help dear Community, please, to have this bug resolved by upvoting and sharing your feedback

Hey, @ClaireBIGENIUS :waving_hand: Thank you very much for your feedback. There is another recent thread about other feedback on the new knowledge tools. Let find the link and I’ll add it here.

Best,

Jaycee

@Jaycee_Lewis you’re right, I also added a reply to it.

Perfect. Thanks for adding your feedback there :raising_hands:
