# KB Header Background Image Size

I want to upload an image to the Header background and would like to know the required size to optimize the image for that space.

Hey [@Samantha\_S](https://community.hubspot.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/645697) there’s no required size for this but it’s definitely good to be conscious of the size for your page load times.

In general I’d probably recomend 1920-2400px in width and definitely no larger than 20mb in size.

usually, I recommend use to keep your header background size 1200 x 600 pixels.
