July 2026 Product Updates

HubSpot Product Updates for July 2026

July brought deep investment in Customer Agent coaching tools, a significantly expanded HubSpot connector for Claude, and a broad set of workflow, data model, and commerce improvements across the platform. Let’s dig into the highlights.

What’s New for Marketers

Instagram: collaborator tagging, DM file attachments, and social account reconnection

  • Collaborator tagging: Tag up to three accounts on Instagram feed posts, Reels, and carousels; each tagged account can share the post to their own profile.
  • File attachments in Instagram DMs: Send images, audio, PDFs, and video from File Manager when replying to DMs in Social Inbox; text and attachments must be sent as separate messages due to an Instagram API limitation.
  • Social account reconnection preserves access settings: Reconnecting after token expiration now automatically restores the previous access setting instead of resetting it to “Everyone.”

Availability: Live for Marketing Hub Professional+.

Marketing email and forms: saved templates, per-email tracking controls, custom event personalization, and unpublish

  • Managed saved email templates: A new Templates tab on the email listing page makes it easier to browse saved templates and create emails from them.
Available for Marketing Hub Free, Starter, Professional, and Enterprise.
  • Switch off tracking per email: A toggle in Setup lets marketers override global open and click tracking on individual emails; requires the “Override Marketing Email Tracking Settings” permission, which is off by default.
Available for Marketing Hub Free, Starter, Professional, and Enterprise.
  • Custom event properties in personalization tokens: Event-specific data like product viewed or video watched can be used as personalization tokens in automated and workflow-triggered emails, with fallback values supported.
    Available for Marketing Hub Professional+.
  • Unpublish a form: Return a form to Draft status from the listing page, editor, or details page; the form stops rendering and existing submissions are unaffected.
Available for all hubs and tiers.

Campaigns and Marketing Studio: WhatsApp, multi-campaign asset association, and task kanban

  • WhatsApp in Marketing Studio: Create, monitor, and connect WhatsApp messages to campaigns from one place.
  • Associate assets to many campaigns: Emails, sequences, tickets, and other asset types can now be tied to more than one campaign simultaneously, improving attribution and reducing the need to clone assets.
  • Task kanban view: Campaign tasks are now accessible via a new Manage tab with list and kanban board views.

Availability: Live for Marketing Hub Professional+.

Cleanup automation now deletes unused website and landing pages

Delete unused website and landing page drafts rather than archiving them; deleted content is recoverable from the Recycle Bin for up to 90 days, and existing cleanup policies need to be re-enabled after this update.

Availability: Live for all Enterprise hubs.

Lead scoring: AI-powered rule discovery and improved score history

  • Discover AI rules: Browse AI-suggested scoring rules with confidence levels, then add them to a score in one click. Supports form submissions, page visits, email opens, workflow enrollments, CTA clicks, and more.
  • Improved score history: Filter by last 30 days, 90 days, last year, or all time; engagement activity history applies to activity on or after June 1, 2026.

What’s New for Support & Success

Customer Agent coaching: a closed-loop feedback system

  • Insights and coaching panel: Click the AI sparkle icon on any Customer Agent response in Help Desk to open an insights panel showing the reasoning, sources, and context.
  • Coaching opportunity: Help Desk rate reply: When a rep rates a Customer Agent reply, that rating surfaces as a coaching opportunity where admins can add a short answer, update guidelines, or update knowledge sources.
  • Coaching opportunity: Live Chat thumbs down: When a visitor rates a response with thumbs down, the rating is captured in the Coaching Opportunities panel, linked to the full conversation.
  • Inline feedback buttons in Live Chat: Thumbs up/thumbs down now appear inline below each Customer Agent message rather than as messages in the thread; feedback is recorded silently and visitors can change their rating.
  • Images inline in short answers: Customer Agent can now include images from knowledge sources in short answers; images appear inline in live chat and email, and as separate bubbles in WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger.

Availability: Live for Service Hub Professional+ (and other Pro/Enterprise hubs where Customer Agent is available).

Customer Agent configuration: status tracking, CRM data in actions, and draft deployments

  • Customer Agent Status Property: Four new statuses (Pending, Awaiting Human Assignment, Handed Off, None) show where a ticket stands in the agent-to-human handoff; they update automatically and cannot be manually edited.
  • CRM contact data in Customer Agent actions: Map CRM contact properties to API request parameters so identified visitors’ data is automatically included in outgoing calls, without custom middleware.
  • Save deployment configuration drafts: Save changes before publishing, keeping updates separate from the live agent until ready.

Availability: Live for Service Hub Professional+ (and other Pro/Enterprise hubs where applicable). Deployment drafts available for all hubs and tiers.

Help Desk: spam search, attachment visibility, routing via workflow, and custom automation messages

  • Search in Spam: Search the Spam view using keywords or phrases, with results ranked by relevance and a snippet showing where the match appears.
  • Improved attachments in thread view: Inline screenshots now surface as attachment tiles alongside file attachments, with email signature logos filtered out automatically.
  • Routing rule: Use assignment workflow: Route incoming tickets into a workflow for assignment logic, enabling VIP routing, language-based assignment, or conditional AI vs. human handoffs.
  • Custom ticket automation messages: Create custom messages for ticket-based workflows beyond the default templates; sendable regardless of marketing subscription status.

Availability: Live for Service Hub Professional+.

Live Chat: offline messaging, resizable widget, and live captioning in Help Desk

  • Allow messages when unavailable: Per-state toggles in chatflow settings for Away, Outside Working Hours, and Max Capacity let you capture visitor messages when agents can’t respond.
Available for all hubs and tiers.
  • Resizable Live Chat widget: Visitors can drag widget edges to any size or toggle between compact and expanded views; HubSpot remembers each visitor’s preferred size.
Available for all hubs and tiers.
  • Live captioning and Live Call Assist with Breeze: Live captioning, a Breeze Q&A panel, and an integrated notetaker are now embedded in the Help Desk ticket thread for real-time AI insights.
    Available for Service Hub Professional+.

Workflow-based routing: user availability conditions and skill-based assignment

  • User availability statuses in workflows: Two new read-only user properties, hs_is_out_of_office and hs_is_in_working_hours, can trigger workflow conditions to auto-reassign tickets or route to Customer Agent after hours.
Available for Data Hub Professional+, Service Hub Professional+.
  • Rotate record by skill: A new workflow action assigns tickets to agents based on configured skills with round-robin, load-balanced, or random distribution.
Available for Service Hub Enterprise (requires Service seat; in ticket-based workflows only).

Availability: Live for all hubs and tiers.

Data quality: duplicate similarity scoring and bulk formatting fixes

  • Duplicate similarity score: A new column shows how closely matched each duplicate pair is; filter by a minimum score. Default thresholds: contacts above 30%, companies above 80%.

    Available for all Enterprise hubs.
  • Workflow templates in the Marketplace: Pre-built workflow templates based on common use cases are now available in HubSpot Marketplace.
Available for all HubSpot products at Professional+.

Available for all hubs and tiers.

Sandbox improvements: clearer errors and smarter deploy wizard

Error messages during sandbox creation now identify the specific reason an asset failed to copy, and the Sandbox Deploy Wizard now shows Deployable and Not Deployable tabs for all new supported assets.

Availability: Live for all Enterprise hubs.

Import tracking and transactional SMS
