Hello, guys, I’m Juan. I’m here to learn more about content marketing. I currently run a nonprofit and trying to create more content to engage more potential donors.
Welcome @Juanito
Have you seen HubSpot (reasonabley new) offer for Non Profits?
I was excited to see HubSpot recognise the sector with a generous offer.
In New Zealand we see a lot of good organisations, full of good peope using bad tech!
Looking forward to helping organisations with HubSpot.
Have fun
Mike
Identitfy your market, and then target your content to them. Outside of my main job, I work closely with several non-profits. Several are based around ice hockey so I mention them on occasion when working other events, and tagging other hockey organizations when I’m working their events. Another organization is looking for furniture and household donations so I’ll mention them during slower times of the year and when people are typically cleaning out their spaces (I also tag storage companies but get little return on those). My children started an organization that collects stuffed animals and gives them to charities in Central PA (we live in Virginia) through the Hershey Bears Teddy Bear Toss. They’ve gathered nearly 15,000 stuffed animals in the five years they’ve been doing this. When we post on their social media (which isn’t often right now because of other things we’re doing), we’ll tag other “kid-friendly” organizations who will sometimes retweet and repost which helps the kids.
