It's possible to to block the response of an Not reply email/ or to send a template email

Hello

I have a request and find no answer to my question:

We want to have a no-reply email ( we launched the request from our team to have it done in Gmail) and we want to know if we have those 2 possibilities:

1. The contacts can’t not reply to this email ( it’s blocked)

2. We have an automatic reply. And can we calibrate this demand with the language that the contact is speaking or do we need to have a workflow for this?

Many thanks

Hi @Nikie,

It’s not possible to block a recipient from answering to an email, this is a built-in feature of all email clients and cannot be prevented.

Regarding your second question, this could be achieved with a custom code action in a workflow to detect the incoming language and a workflow to send an automated email back, yes. To set this up, you would need an Operations Hub Professional and a Marketing Hub Professional subscription.

The question is whether such a fairly elaborate setup makes sense - or whether you’d rather set up your auto-response to include multiple language variations / translations below each other, assuming that the email you’re sending is on the shorter side.

Let me know if you have any follow-up questions!

ok for the workflow I can build it, but when you say auto reply to you
mean there is functionality for this one directly in hubspot ? or is it
still a workflow for the simple auto response ?

Hi @Nikie,

The auto-reply would have to be set up in Google, not in HubSpot. HubSpot does not have any auto-reply features that I’m aware of.

The approach here would be creating a ticket from the incoming conversation, then send an automated email from this ticket, if you want to do this from HubSpot. I wouldn’t recommend it, purely for the level of unnecessary complexity when you might as well set up an auto responder directly in Google.

Best regards!
