Add product SKU field to items listed on an Invoice template. It is a unique identifier that is already on our HubSpot quote. Descriptions only may have been modified (edited) previously during the sales process and not fully identified by our customer’s accounting people paying for the product or service.
To further clarify adding the SKU column on the invoice template, I need the body (items) to look and act like the quote template, which has a SKU column. Would also like to have the line items for under subscriptions and ultimately for the invoice to “stay” in the same order when the invoice is created. Quotes do this already. Lastly, at the top right of the invoice where the four (4) custom fields can be added, I would like the option of adding date fields that are already populated and shown on the invoice card.
I want this also… It’s strange that it doesn’t just mimic the quote template. I needed to be able to export my invoices with SKU data for system integration.
Agreed! How this wasn’t a standard field when Hubspot product development team was cooking this one up is beyond me. It’s like when they launched the Customer Agent for AI chat responding without creating a way for it to access all your historical chats for quick and easy training. Does no one think these things through before they are launched…???
We need this for our company!! When we convert the quote to an invoice we send it over to finance to generate a QB invoice. We are having to manually go back and forth on information about part numbers. Having it included already would save us so much time!!
