Issues with Email Marketing Certification Course (Captions, Slider Mismatch, Video Quality & Audio)

Hi, I’m currently taking the Email Marketing Certification Course on HubSpot Academy and have encountered several issues that are affecting my learning experience:

1. Captions not displaying
   • Captions/subtitles are not showing even when enabled.
   • I’ve tried toggling them on/off and refreshing the page, but the issue persists.
2. Slider/progress bar mismatch
   • The orange progress bar and the circular slider indicator are not aligned.
   • The circular slider does not reflect the actual playback position, making it difficult to track progress accurately.
3. Low video quality despite 720p selection
   • I selected 720p in the video quality settings, but the video still appears blurry/low-resolution.
   • This makes it difficult to clearly view on-screen text and visuals.
4. Inconsistent audio levels across videos
   • Some videos have significantly lower volume compared to others.
   • This requires frequent manual volume adjustments, which disrupts the learning experience.

I’ve attached a screenshot showing these issues for reference. Also, I’m using the Google Chrome browser on my MacBook.

I appreciate you flagging. I was able to reproduce the issues with ‘closed captioning’ not working and the ‘slider’ timing being off. I’ve flagged this directly with the Academy team and will keep you updated once I hear back!
