Kinda through associated object triggers or even list membership. More important question, what is it you want to do and why?

While company-based workflows primarily use triggers related to company properties, you might need to set enrollment conditions based on associated deals by using association labels. If your current workflow logic allows, you can try to set conditions where a ‘deal’ property changes or a new deal is associated with the company.
