Is there a way to limit deal to be mandatorily created in specific stages

Hello!

Is there a way we can restrict Deal Stage to a specific stage at the time of Deal Creation.

Is there also a way to restrict Deal movementin the pipeline to move linearly, i.e. they can’t skip a specific stage?

Appreciate support from anyone who can help us know how to solve this.
