Is there a way to comment (internal) from slack?

In the conversations page, you can do an internal comment not visible to the customer. Many of the team use the slack integration which generally works great, but I’m wondering if there is some slash command to make a comment the same way?

Hello @danny2327 , thank you for reaching out to the community.

Could you please provide us with additional details about your objective? The more details, examples, and screenshots you can share with us, the easier it will be for us to arrive at an idea or solution for you.

Best,

Diana

Hey!

If I understood you correctly, you want to add a note to a specific contact via Slack integration (from Slack messanger).

If yes, it’s possible!

1. You should find a specific contact to whom you want to add a note: add a Slash - then choose Search

2. Click on Contacts (or any other Object)

3. Type Name, Email or any other info about this Contact

4. Slack will show you this Contact, and you’ll be able to ann a Note to HubSpot, directly from Slack!

This note can be accessible in the Contact Activity feed and all your team can see it.

I hope that helps.

Hi Anton,
Thanks for this. It’s not actually what I meant, but that is really cool and I didn’t know that.
What I was actually looking for though is the ability to comment in the chat from within Slack, in the same way that you can @mention colleagues, or just comment so that other members of my team following the chat (or viewing it later) can see it, but so that the customer cannot.
On the website in a conversation, you have this tab:

And this is what I was wondering if there is an option for. I don’t see a slash option for it.
It’s set up from the slack integration in Hubspot like this:

And that slack channel is where team members can reply from.
Thanks

Hey @danny2327 Oh, I see. As I know there is no way to post comments from Slack to this Comments tab. Though you can also add comments to the tickets if needed, but as I understand it’s not something that you’re looking for, as you’re looking for communication between team members.
